Over the many years I have been enamelling I have had many commissions. From murals for businesses and hotels, large enamelled bowls for visiting dignitaries, sterling silver enamelled boxes and smaller jewellery pieces.
A major commission by the FederalAirports Commission was for a mural of Queensland's Daintree Rain Forest. This is a mural of enamel on copper with fine silver, two dimensional, and measures over 16 meters by 3 meters high. It is situated above the "Arrival Doors" on the second level of the building. "Daintree" took 2 years to fabricate and 6 weeks to install. It was completed in September 1995.
Another major commission was for the Montefiore Homes for the Aged. A "Tree of Life" for the lobby of the new wing in Melbourne which stood 3 meters by 3 meters high and was three dimensional with moving "leaves".
Pictured, is a sterling silver and 24ct. gold enamelled box commissioned privately for a watch collection.
